AmiBroker 4.89.0 BETA released

A new beta version (4.89.0) of AmiBroker has just been released.

It is available for registered users only from the members area at:
http://www.amibroker.com/members/bin/ab4890beta.exe

(File size: 1 272 191 bytes, 1.2 MB)

The installer includes also the newest AmiQuote 1.92.

If you forgot your user name / password to the members area you can use automatic reminder service at: http://www.amibroker.com/login.html

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  1. If you have made any additions to Web Research URL links you need to backup weblinks.cfg file before installation as the installer will overwrite this file
  2. If you are using Firewall you may need to check if it did not block Broker.EXE file after upgrade. (It happened to some users that firewall blocked AmiBroker after upgrade and they could not connect to RT data sources due

    Hello,

    thanks for the latest beta. The software is getting better and better.

    Two things for the next versions:

    Symbol > Categories : I like to have a possibility to move a categorie or a watchlist up or down in order to sort them

    View > Risk/yield map : I would appreciate to restrict the risk/yield map to the choosen Filter; If that’s a problem: What is the formula for Risk and yield? If I know them I can create an exploration based on a choosen filter.

    Suggetion-Kindly Make a provision to make change
    background color of Realtime quote window to black and
    also to change color of quotes and to make teh quotes
    Bold.

    It would be nice to be able to edit a portfolio (to make corrections). The “UNDO” only works for current mistakes. Thank you for considering this for the next upgrade.
