Q: Does
AmiBroker work with TC2000/TC2005/TC2007/TCNet?
A. Yes
it does.
Due to
the fact that TC200x exposes interface to 3rd party application
as OLE server on Vista computer it requires running
TC200x with ELEVATED rights (see exact procedure below)
Q: What
to do after installing TC200x and AmiBroker
A. Run
AmiBroker and configure database with TC2000/TCNet/TC2005 plugin
(if not already configured)

Q: After I have run "registry cleaner", I can not access TC database
anymore. What to do?
A: You need to
RE-RUN TC2000/TC2005/TCNet SETUP or restore registry entries that
were deleted by your "registry cleaner".
We strongly discourage
use of such tools because they cause just problems by removing registry
entries USED by applications. After
you run such "registry cleaners" some of programs may stop
working.
The registry key that MUST be present (and it is generated by TC setup
program)
is

64-bit Windows note: 64-bit Windows uses separate registry keys for
32-bit applicaitons like TC200x. Therefore in case of 64-bit Windows
the above registry keys are different, i.e.:
The registry key

VERY IMPORTANT:
Installing
TC2005/TC2007/TCNet on Windows XP and Vista requires Administrative
rights and on Vista it additionally requires
ELEVATED
rights. Below is a procedure for correct installation of TC200x so
it can work with 3rd party programs:
On Windows
XP/2000 it should be enough just to run TC200x setup using Admin
account, on Vista additional steps are necessary.
Clean Install TeleChart
Please note that in Windows 2000, XP and Vista, you need to have Administrative
rights on your computer to remove and install programs (this is not the case
for Windows 98 or Windows ME). If your profile on the computer does not have
Admin rights, you will need to have an Administrator set this up for you

1. Download the file ftp://nero.worden.com/TeleChart-Remover.exe (Click the link
or type it in your web-browser's address bar)
2. Select Run and follow the prompts to remove TeleChart and backup your personal
settings
3. Go to http://www.worden.com/telechartinstall and follow the install instructions
Note: When using Internet Explorer on Windows Vista, right-click the IE icon
and select 'Run as Administrator' to open the browser
4. If you are using Windows Vista, right-click on the TeleChart icon on your
Desktop and click on Properties. Click on the Compatibility tab at the top of
the window that comes up and place a checkmark next to 'Run as Administrator.'
Click OK to return to the Desktop
5. Open TeleChart to verify the original problem has been corrected
6. To restore your personal settings, close TeleChart and download the file ftp://nero.worden.com/TeleChart-Settings.exe (Click
the link or type it in your web-browser's address bar)
7. Select Run and follow the prompts
Some TeleChart settings may need to be manually reset, including Chart Template
HotKeys, customized price grid scaling and items found under Tools | Chart Display
Options and Tools | System Settings
After confirming that your personal settings have been restored, you can free
up hard-drive space by running the file ftp://nero.worden.com/TeleChart-FreeSpace.exe
